We are constantly discovering forgotten and even never performed Finnish compositions to supplement the growing list of manuscripts to be digitised and eventually performed. Of this material, we study, examine and transcribe works principally for orchestra and chorus but can also take on orders for chamber music, etc., at request.

 

Our musicians are a diverse but professionally highly qualified group of instrumentalists including professional instrumentalists, retired professionals, musical instrument teachers, students at musical colleges, and other professional-level instrumentalists who have chosen another form of income. The society aims to give two concerts a year with repertoire that consist of exclusively previously unknown works to the public. This supplements the ongoing effort by the society to preserve manuscripts in critical, digitized editions.
